Relays are used to activate circuits or provide power for them. In the case of your 2006 Nissan Frontier some owners of Frontiers have had to add a few relays to activate the trailer wiring circuits.
If all of the tail light functions work on your trailer when connected to your Frontier then you would not need any additional relays. Most likely this is the case since whoever installed the 7-way on your vehicle would have wanted the 7-way to work.
If you needed the relays you would want part # C57000.
If you wanted to use the Curt Venturer part # C74VV all you would only need the Harness part # C51382 to complete the install.
