Can Trailer Tail Lights Be Wired Into a Taillights on Truck With Slide In Camper?

Can you wire these lights to existing truck tail lights. I built a camper and would like to install tail lights on the camper and wonder if these can be wired to my tail lights. Thank you, Dave

This will depend on your truck Dave but my recommendation is to always wire the lights into a powered converter like the Curt # C59236. This will not only combine separate turn/brake signals to work on the same light but it will also prevent you from pulling to much power through your stock harness and cause a wiring issue on the truck. The power for the turn/brake lights on the Light # STL68RB will then come from your battery rather than the factory harness. If your truck already has a 7-way that uses a USCAR round connector into the 7-way we have the Splitter # C56584 which will give you a 5-way flat that you can wire to the new lights as well. Using a 5-way Connector # HM37918 would make it more easily removable.
