Low Profile Snow Tire Chains For 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E With 225/60R18 Tire Size
Question:
Hello, I am looking for snow chains for my 2022 Ford Mach E 225/60R18. The owners manual says to use ultra low profile cables, 10 mm or less in dimension as measured on the sidewall of your tire. Can you point me to some options that meet this criteria? Thank you!

Happy to, and there are a couple options for low-profile snow tire chains that fit your 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E with 225/60R18 tires. One is from pewag and the other is from Titan Chain and both have 3.7 mm links so well under the 10 mm your Mustang requires. The parts are the following:
- Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains # TC1555
- pewag Servo RS Tire Chains # PWRSV79
Both of these have diamond-pattern square links, which is great because the diamond pattern gives your tires the best overall coverage for your tires, and square links give you both traction in snow and grip on ice.
The biggest difference between these two are how they install. The pewag are quite a bit simpler as you don't have to do any tensioning - you put them on and drive off and they self-tension which is a big time saver, especially if you're going to use them a lot. The Titans don't have that, so you're going to have to ensure the proper tension before you set off and go.
