Recommended Hitch and Wiring Harness for a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz
Question:
Good Day, I have a customer that purchased a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz without the towing package and needs to add a hitch and a wiring harness. What are your recommendations and part numbers?

To add a hitch to a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz, I recommend the Curt item # C23WR. This hitch fits all models of the 204 Santa Cruz with or without the towing package. It is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver, that has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 750 lbs maximum tongue weight.
I have linked an installation video below to help you get this hitch set up.
For a wiring harness you will need to use the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter item # C59236 since your customer's Santa Cruz does not have the towing package. This is a universal harness that has to be spliced into the factory wiring.
I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
