Determining The Correct Replacement Hubs For A 2008 Triton Travel Trailer

Question:

What hub assembly do I need to buy for this trailer? I can’t seem to find a concrete answer anywhere. Thank you in advance! It’s a 2008 12’ Triton

There isn't a guide to show exactly what's on your trailer so you'll need to jack one side up and remove the wheel and hub. With the hub removed you can measure the spindle with a set of calipers # PTW80157 at points B, C, and D on the diagram below to determine the inner diameters of your bearings and grease seal. Next you'll need to know the bolt pattern of the wheel so that the new hubs will match. I've attached a little diagram below that will show you how to measure for your bolt pattern. Next you'll want to get under the trailer and look for the axle tag to confirm the axle capacity.

For example, the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-2-EZ-2K you were looking at are designed for a 2k capacity axle, use # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) for both the inner and outer bearing, use # 10-9 (1.500" inner diameter) for the grease seal, and have a 5 on 4-1/2" wheel bolt pattern.

Once you get this information let me know and I'd be happy to find the correct replacement hubs for your trailer.
