Lift for Grand Design 295RL That is Towed by 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 with 3 inch Lift

Question:

I am purchasing the 18,000 towing capacity unit and will be towing a Grand Design 295RL. My 2020 Silverado 2500HD also has a 3 inch lift, I believe just for the front as the front and back of the unit appear to be level. Any issues you see? Any changes to the kingpin required?

Fifth wheel towing with a lifted truck does get a little more challenging since the ride height between the truck and trailer needs to be pretty close to stock. So since your truck has a 3 inch lift the best solution would be a similar lift size installed on your trailer like the Correct Track part # RR23QX. This would lift the trailer 2-1/4 inch which would be pretty close to what you have on your truck and would allow your trailer to be towed level and still have enough clearance between the truck bed and trailer overhang.
