Tire Chain Recommendation for 2012 Toyota Tundra Tire Size 275/65R18
Question:
I plan on using tire chain, TC2533 5.5mm, on the rear tires of my 2012 Toyota Tundra, 275/65R18 tires. I would like your expert opinion on what you would recommend for the front tires. Should I use the same chains or something different like TC2327 3.7mm for more clearance around the front steering parts or is this not necessary.

Helpful Expert Reply:
I pulled up the owners manual for your 2012 Toyota Tundra and they require tire chains that are less than 5 mm thick to avoid clearance issues so I would recommend the Titan chains part # TC2327 for your tire size of 275/65R18.
