B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System Installation - Do Truck And Trailer Need To Be Level?
Question:
Good morning Will this work with a Grand Design 2970RL and a 2023 Ford F 350? Does the trailer and truck have to be both level and on the same plane when hitching up ? Our driveway is pitched down towards the street and the truck is nose high in the street when we connect . Thank You

Good morning! To answer your first question, yes the B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System # BW28FR will work very nicely on your Grand Design 2970RL. You are well within the maximum weight parameter of 16,000 lbs, so it will work nicely to level your ride and prevent sway.
To answer your second question, yes, the trailer and tow vehicle must both be on a flat level area in order to hook up. So you will not be able to hitch up with the camper in the driveway and the truck on the street, since they are not on the same level plane. This is going to be the case with really any weight distribution system.
