Expert Reply:
The Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller TK90160 can definitely be installed on your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, you just need the following wiring parts depending on if you have the factory tow package or not:
With Factory Tow Package
- Plug-In Wiring Adapter # TK93VR
Without Factory Tow Package
- Curt 4-Way Wiring Kit # C62VR
- Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7
- No-Drill Mount Bracket # 18136
If you have the factory tow package you'll have a connector located underneath the driver's side dash that you plug the adapter into. If you don't have the package then you'll need to install the 4-Way wiring kit (if you don't already have a 4-Way) along with the universal installation kit which comes with all of the wiring and connections needed to complete your installation.
