Equalizer Upgrade & Wet Bolt Kit For TREQ310

Question:

I am looking to do a complete suspension and axle upgrade on my fifth wheel camper. Looking for 2 7k axles, 68.5 spring center and 86.5 hub face. New springs 1.75 wide x 24.875 center of eyes. Heavy duty shackle kit 2.25 center of bolts, with wet bolts and brass bushings. Shock absorbing equalizer for 33 wheel base to replace current TREQ310. Or any other recommendations. Thanks!

Let's go ahead and start with the replacement for your # TREQ310 equalizer. This equalizer measures 6" center to center of the bolt holes and 4" tall, and the best option for an upgrade is one with the same 6" measurement. For that and the upgrade kit use the following:

- Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740

- MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4" Long Shackle Straps # MR46ZR

This is 3-1/4" tall compared to your 4" tall equalizer so you'll lose a tiny bit of height, but there is no way around that as it's the tallest replacement you can use. The upgrade kit does come with bronze bushings, and while the Road Armor does already have bronze bushings installed, it's the only wet bolt kit with the correct size straps. So you'll have some extras on hand in case you need to replace them down the road.

Moving onto the leaf springs, we do have 7k springs with the exact length you are looking for, the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 7,000-lb Trailer Axles - 24-7/8" Long # e64SR.

The only thing we don't have is the axle, as we don't offer one in that length.
