Tips to Get the T-One 4-Pole Wiring Harness to Fit Into the etrailer Mounting Bracket
Question:
I was trying to slide the wire harness end part number 118467 into the slot of the bracket part number 18144 and it would not fully go in. it got to the point where the metal slots bent in the harness because of me trying to manipulating in. it shouldnt be like that. The videos I watched you just wiggle it a little bit. Something couldnt be right. Now I have to repurchase both items. What could be wrong? Thanks

I'm not quite sure what happened with your Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144 and the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118467 because it sounds like you're not doing anything wrong.
What I'd do is whenever I got the new bracket and wiring, I'd see if I run into the same issues. If no issues, then problem solved; but if the same thing happens I'd just widen that opening a little by taking some fine grit sand paper and sand out the hole. It'll take some time, but using fine grit will only shave a bit off at a time and will prevent you from taking too much off at once.
