Can The etrailer Lead Spring # e54SR Replace Springs With A 25-12" Eye-To-Eye Measurement
Question:
I have a 2017 Keystone Passport 3220bh with tandem 3500# axles. I’m looking for the correct leaf spring replacement. I removed one of the existing 4 leaf springs and measured the eye to eye distance at 25-1/2”. Will the replacement e54SR be the correct replacement?

Since leaf springs tend to flatten out over time the original eye to eye measurement was probably closer to 25-1/4" or 25-1/8" so the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles # e54SR would be an acceptable replacement. The shackle straps on the equalizer should allow you to make up the difference. Now would be a good time to also check your shackle straps and bolts for any damage and replace as needed. If you need help finding the correct replacements or want to switch to wet bolts then let me know what your eyelet to eyelet measurement is for the shackle straps.
