How Does The Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Operate And Connect To Monitoring Systems

Question:

Ive just purchsed the RM-751490 brake petal switch to use with a 2019 Wrangler. My question is how to get the signal that you show going to a light on the wrangler dash to my RV dash. I have a light from a previously installed NSARV DC300 In dash monditor, that has 2 wires that used to plug into a system spliced to a 1999 Wrangler brake light switch. Im thinking the 2 wires from the RV, one is hot and the other a ground to the Wrangler to complete the circuit. So, if I ground the wire from the RV to the Wrangler, can the white light wire from your system just be spliced to the RV hot wire lead?

The Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 will get power from a fuse and connect to one of the black wires on the switch. The other black wire can connect to your monitoring system as the power as the switch will only allow power to pass through when the brake pedal is being depressed.
