How To Make An Advent Air Heat Strip Work With An Advent Unit In A Dometic System
Question:
I recently purchased a Advent AC unit to replace my Domettic Duo Therm unit for my 2007 Lexington by Forrest River. Additionally I purchased a bolt on heat strip but the Dometic control box does not have a connector for the heat strip. Any suggestions

If your Dometic controller doesn't have a port for the Advent Air Heat Strip # ACMHD to plug into then the only way to make it work would be to swap out the air distribution box/controller with either the manual control # ACDB or wall control # ACRG15. This would give you a compatible controller for the heat strip to plug into and would essentially fully swap you over from a Dometic system to an Advent Air system.
