Replacing 175/80R14 Trailer Tires

Question:

Hello, I have a DK2 utility trailer 6x10 which came with 175/80-R14 tires/wheels. I am looking for a spare wheel combo with no avail and found out that this is a very uncommon size. Which replacement solution do you suggest that comes closest the current height tall? Thank you for your support.

I can certainly point you in the right direction. A 175/80-R14 is fairly uncommon these days, but we do have options for replacing them. A 175/80-R14 has a diameter of 25" and is about 6.9" wide. The best replacement we can offer will be the Loadstar ST185/80D13 Bias trailer tire # AM3S331. This has a diameter of 24.4" and is 7.2" wide. So you will be losing .6" of diameter and adding .3" of width. I imagine this will fit very nicely in the current fender area, and you will stay very close to the same ride height.

That said, this is a bias ply instead of a radial. If you want to stick with a radial, you will have to order the tire # AM1ST79, and wheel # AM20232 separately. The wheel is a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. Your wheel is clearly a 5 lug, and the 4-1/2" bolt pattern is very common. We would prefer to have you confirm this prior to ordering. Since the tire is a bit of an oddball size it will not hurt to double check.
