Longer Wheel Studs for Use with Trailer Hub # AKIHUB-865-7-2-EZ-K
Question:
I purchased idler hubs AKIHUB-865-7-2-EZ-K and the Hydrastar brake kit with the slip-over rotors HSE7K-T1SO. The problem Im having is that the studs on the hubs are too short due to the thickness of the rotors my lugs only thread about halfway onto the studs. What studs do I need to order to solve this problem? The stud shoulder and spline length cant be any longer than the existing studs because rotors likely wont clear the shoulder/splines.

Expert Reply:
For a longer wheel stud that fits the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 7,000-lb Axles # AKIHUB-865-7-2-EZ-K you would want the part # DE53GR. This would give you the additional length needed for your wheel to fit.
