Adapter Needed To Connect A Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar To Blue Ox Baseplates
Question:
I have a Falcon 2 tow bar and I need a base plate for a 2001 Subaru Forester. I have been searching and the only one who comes is the Blue Ox. Is it going to work with the Roadmaster Falcon2? Thank you

Expert Reply:
To connect a Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520 to a Blue Ox baseplate, like the # BX3605 which is a confirmed fit for your Forester, you would need the Roadmaster Tow Bar to Blue Ox Brackets Adapter # RM-031. This would replace the connectors on the arms allowing you to mount the tow bar to the baseplate.
There is the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # 909-9, which is confirmed to fit your Forester, but you'd still need an adapter like the Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly for Roadmaster Tow Bars # 910021-00 to connect to the Falcon 2's direct-connect style attachment points.
