What Information Is Needed To Find Lift Kit For Dexter Torsion Axle?
Question:
I need to raise my 6x14 aluminum trailer frame which has a Dexter torsion axle. What type of blocks should be used between the axle and frame p!ate? Can I send photos for your expert opinion? Should I get a higher axle? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
You can send me pictures if you'd like me to take a look, but really I need a picture of the axle tag telling me what model torsion axle you have.
This tag should be on the center of the axle beam, and will be the only way for me to 100% confirm which option would work for you.
The torsion axles are classified by a number, for example a # 11 torsion axle would use the lift kit # K71-724-02 as long as you did not have the optional 3" tall mounting brackets on the top of the axle.
Send me this information and pictures and I'd be happy to help confirm what you'll need.
