Recommended Adapter for Connecting a Tuson Brake Controller to a 2016 Chevy Suburban
Question:
I have a 2016 Chevrolet Suburban K 3500 HD LS, will this controller work with it? Also, what other parts do I need to install it? This Suburban will be towing a Forest River SBT300BH, on which I’m planning to install the Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control Item # 335TSC-1000.

Helpful Expert Reply:
If your 2016 Chevrolet Suburban has the factory tow package you will be able to install the Tuson DirecLink Trailer Brake Controller item # 335DL-100 using the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter item # 3016. If you do not have the factory tow package you will not have the adapter port and you will need to hard wire the brake controller with the included universal harness.
I have linked an installation video below so you can see how to get this brake controller set up.
The Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control item # 335TSC-1000 doesn't connect in any way to your brake controller so you will have no compatibility issues with these two systems.
