The Lippert Power Tongue Jack 1817941 has been replaced with the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack with Footplate # LC285318, which has the Replacement Extend/Retract Switch for Lippert Electric Trailer Jack # LC49MD. This is the same switch they use for most of their jacks so it should be a fairly simple swap out.
The top cover # LC285160 of the jack is held in place by four screws (two up front and two in the back) that face upwards from the base cover. Once these four screws are out you can then lift up the top cover to gain access to the switch and replace it.
