Options For Replacing Obsolete Atwood Brake Actuator With Bad Master Cylinder 1-71

Question:

I need to replace a Atwood brake master cylinder model no. 1-71. Is there a replacement part available or a rebuild kit? Thanks. John

I have a complete replacement actuator option, but unfortunately as Atwood went out of business years back there is no replacement master cylinder nor rebuild kit available.

Instead a replacement actuator like the # DM72VR if you have drum brakes or # DM62VR if you have disc brakes is going to be the only option. Both of these options have a 2" ball, 7,000lb capacity, and fit the common 3" wide trailer tongue. If you have a different size tongue just let me know.
