Tire Chain Recommendation For 2000 Ford F-250 Super Duty
Question:
Where are these snow chains made? I prefer U.S steel or from a country that knows snow and ice and heavy duty winter use. My vehicle is a 2000 4x4 250 Super Duty diesel supercab with the stock tire size. I am looking for a snow chain that will give a better ride that the standard crosschain style. Thanks

I spoke with my contact at Titan chains and they told me that their chains are made in China. We do offer tire chains that will fit your 20000 Ford F-250 Super Duty 4X4, but are not made in the U.S.
Tire chains are based on your tire size. If your tires are 215/85-16, I recommend the Thule XG12 Pro, part # TH01594245. These are self-centering and self-tensioning dual-sided, D-shape links, which are designed for a smoother ride while still gripping in snow and ice. Thule chains are made in Italy and carry a 5 year warranty.
If your tires are 235/85-16, I recommend part # TH01571265.
All three of these chains are Class S compatible.
If your vehicle does not require Class S Compatible chains, I recommend the following part numbers. For tire size 235/85-16 part # TH01571265.
I have attached some helpful articles that explain snow chains and answers some common questions about snow tire chains.
If you have tires on your truck that are a different size than those I have mentioned, just send me a note and I will find some chains that will work for you.
