Choosing Between Standard and HD RAS for 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500 High Country
Question:
How To Decide Between Standard and HD RoadActive RAS Leaf Spring Kit for 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500HD high country. I pull about 8000 lb bumper pull trailer. My truck is a bit of a rough ride at times when its not pulling the trailer... will the RAS help with that? and which one should I get?

The RoadActive Suspension won't have as much of an impact on your unloaded ride quality as it will when towing the trailer, especially on a brand new truck with a new suspension system. However, it will make a difference, more so as your suspension wears out over time. It will also help prevent that wear, extending the life of those components and your tires.
I would choose the HD # RAS3611-HD over the standard # RAS3611. The HD at the lowest setting is the same as the standard at the highest setting. The HD can also be set at 1, 2, or 3mm so you have more options compared to the standard that can only be set to 1mm or 2mm. This makes it far more versatile since the standard only has the lowest setting to differentiate itself from the HD.
