Good morning, will a Yakima bike rack fit on a 2020 jeep Cherokee limited Our bikes are step thru , electric and weigh 55 lbs! Thanks for getting back with me

With your bikes being 55lbs you'll be well over the capacity of the Yakima FullBack and would need to switch over to a hitch mounted bike rack. If your 2020 Jeep Cherokee doesn't already have a hitch then you'll want to first install the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e73ZR for the bike rack to mount to.

There unfortunately aren't any 3 or 4-bike racks with a high enough capacity so you would be limited to a 2-bike rack in order to get a high enough capacity for your 55lb e-bikes. If you're ok with only hauling two e-bikes then I recommend the Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # Y02443. This rack has a 60lb per bike capacity and has a wheel mount design so you won't have to purchase any adapters like you would for your step-through frame bikes with frame mount style bike rack.

I checked the installation instructions for the Draw Tite Hitch part #75838 and there is no mention of lowering exhaust or removing body panels so no, you would not need to do either of those things to install this hitch on your 2014 Jeep Cherokee.
