Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver, Wiring and Hitch Ball For a 2021 Jeep Cherokee Altitude Sport

Hello, I have a 2021 Jeep Cherokee Altitude Sport. I need help finding a trailer receiver, hitch, and wiring for a trailer. Thanks!

I recommend installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e73ZR on your 2021 Jeep Cherokee Altitude Sport. I prefer this receiver a it gives you the larger 2" receiver opening and has a matte black finish which allows it to blend in better with your vehicle fascia for a more factory appearance. When we installed this on a 2022 Jeep Cherokee in our shop we measured the hitch height to 11". Depending on your coupler height and ball size requirements will help to determine the correct ball mount and hitch ball for that trailer. You might consider a B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS10047B if you will tow trailers of different heights and with different coupler sizes.
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56406 will give you a 4-way flat connector which will work with most small trailers. If you will be pulling larger trailers with electric brakes you will need to add a 7-Way # ETBC7 as well as a Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR.
