Parts Needed To Add A Tee In To A Motorhome Propane System With Very Limited Space
Question:
Hello: I want to extend our propane system with a 20lb bottle and whatever is needed to connect to our motorhome.....problem is you can see from the picture is, there is no room for a stay-a-while or similiar device. Do you sell something i can into my system like hose and single stage regulator on the 20lb bottle? That would connect to my propane system and has a 1/2inch swivel flare connection on one end. Has to maintain 11inch w.c. Thanks!

You would still be able to use a tee like you're wanting to but you'll have to make a few modifications in order to fit the regulator in place again. The POL fitting # 204037-MBS on tees like part # 103606 can be removed and you can install a 1/4" male NPT to 1/4" female NPT fitting with a 90 degree elbow from your local hardware store to face the POL fitting vertical to gain some more room.
From there you can use a vertical regulator like # 108220 and then connect back into your motorhome's propane system. The # 108220 has a 3/8" Female NPT outlet so you would need an adapter fitting to go from this to the 1/2" swivel flare connection on your current hose.
This will require a bit of playing around to get everything in this tight space but it is still feasible.
