Will Weight Distribution System Allow 2020 Toyota Sienna to Tow Trailer with 400 lb Tongue Weight

Question:

I have a toyota sienna and its rated to haul 3500lbs with 350tw my trailer is 3094lbs with 415tw would it balance out by getting a weight distribution hitch on my hitch it says with distribution hitch 5000lbs max tow and 500max tw. Witch one should I be buying thanks

As long as your Toyota Sienna hitch is rated for weight distribution like the etrailer part # e98837 is and it has a set of higher weight capacities when used with a WD system what you are wanting to do is possible. This particular hitch has a 5,000 lb trailer and 500 lb tongue weight capacity when used with a WD system.

Then for a weight distribution system the Reese part # RE34FR would be a great option that has a tongue weight range of 200 to 600 lbs like what your trailer would need.
