Replacement Brake Shoes for Dexter 10 inch Self Adjusting Brake Assemblies

Question:

Hello, several years ago I installed this kit on my vintage 1967 Aristocrat trailer and they have been great. However, when inspecting them recently I noticed the shoes are getting quite worn. When the time comes, can the shoes be replaced, or do I need to order entire new brake assemblies?

Helpful Expert Reply:

For the 10 inch self-adjusting brake assemblies part # 23-468-469 that you referenced the correct replacement shoes would be the # K71-682 for the right hand and part # K71-681 for the left hand side.
