Troubleshooting Opti-Brite Motion Activated LED Dome Lights That Won't Turn On
Question:
Had a question I bought the motion lights and had installed them on a 53foot reefer. Once plugged in to battery 12 volts lights turned on and stayed in for 5 min or so after they shut off and will not turn on again

It sounds to me like there might be a blown fuse or just a lack of voltage causing your issues with the Opti-Brite 12V/24V LED Dome Light for Refrigerated Trucks and Trailers # ILL28CMB. These lights can operate on 7v to 30v DC power so I recommend first checking that you're getting at least 7 volts using a multimeter # PT89ZR at the lights.
Next you'll want to make sure that the ground wires are ran directly to the frame. A bad ground connection can cause all sorts of issues for electronics.
If you're getting enough power and the ground connection is good then there would be an internal issue with the lights and you would want to reach out to Optronics to get a warranty replacement.
