Hitch Option For School Bus With 34 Inch Wide Frame
Question:
Hello I’m trying to put a hitch on a 40 foot Thomas school bus. The frame is 34 inches wide. The holes for the mounts are 30 1/2 inches I was wondering if you had anything that would fit that I only need like a 2 inch to clear the bumper

The only option we have for a hitch for your school bus with a 34 inch frame is a weld on hitch:
- Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch and Brackets with 3" Drop # 15901
This is for frames up to 44 inches wide and gives you the drop you need as well, so it will work out very nicely.
