Parts Needed to Use Coleman RoadTrip X-Cursion Grill With Camper Propane Tank
Question:
Good Morning, I would like to connect my new Coleman grill Road Trip Excursion model # 9406A directly to the regulated 30 gal propane tank from my camper. If I understand this correctly, I can use the propane tank because the PSI coming from my standard 30 gal DOT propane tank has a higher regulated pressure than the pressure regulated by the grill. Is this correct? My RV technician advised I would simply need an adapter at the grill to accept the standard propane tank hose. Could you please advise me on the following: 1 will my grill work still correctly by connecting it to a standard gas propane tank and hose and 2 what fitting/adapter size would I need to connect the propane gas hose to my grill?

You can use your Coleman RoadTrip X-Cursion grill with the 30 gallon tank on your camper. Since the grill has a built in regulator, you will need to install the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting # 103613-MBS. This will allow you to access the propane before it reaches the regulator on your camper. Then you can use the # 100476-72-MBS (6' hose) or # 100476-120-MBS (10' hose) to connect to your grill.
