Tow Bar Wiring For 2004 Dodge Ram 1500
Question:
Hello I am looking for a custom TOAD wiring harness for a 2004 Dodge RAM 1500. I would prefer not to cut and splice my OEM wiring. Hopkins makes them for every Jeep in existence...why not RAMs? If I could find the connectors to match my truck I could use the universal wiring kit from Hopkins and make my own. Can you suggest anything? Thanks!

There are no custom tow bar wiring harnesses for your 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, and while I can't answer definitively why Hopkins does not make certain products, it's probably because Jeeps are the most-towed vehicle compared to Ram trucks. If you want to use your Ram's lights you'll have to splice with the Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # C63CR.
Otherwise, to avoid splicing altogether the only option is to use a wireless magnetic light kit, either the Hopkins Magnetic Tow Lights # C6304 which plug into a 4-way or the Custer Wireless LED Tow Bar Light # LIW-LDTL-7B which plugs into a 7-way.
