Recommended Replacement Lippert Landing Gear Leg for a 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

I am looking for a replacement leveling leg or legs for a fifth wheel RV. The gear pack has failed in the current legs on the lead side. The outer tube measures 33-1/2, the measurement inside the two brackets stops is 15-1/2 and the outer measurement of the two stops is 17-1/2. The current mount is on the inside of the frame. Do you have suggestions for a replacement set of legs? I have been unable to identify the original legs. The common replacement gear packs do not fit as the hole in the bottom gear is too small and the pin does not fit in screwdrive.

I believe what you need for your 5th wheel is the Lippert Components 32" Lead 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear Drop Leg w/Snap Pin # LC179013.

This replacement leg measures 32" overall, has the same 15-1/2" inner, 17-1/2" outer measurements, and has a total travel distance of 21".

I was not able to find anything that matches both the 33-1/2" overall measurement with the same inner/outer measurement.

As long as you have a Lippert Power landing gear, which most modern RV's and 5th Wheels do, then this'll work great as a replacement.

I've also attached a diagram of # LC179013 for you to cross-reference with your current leg, as long as the measurements match, then this'll work great.
