Snow Chain Recommendation for 2014 Ford Escape with Tire Size 235/50R18
Question:
I have a 2014 ford escape AWD SE with Sincera sn250 a/s 235/50r18 97v m+s tires. What chains will be good? And do I need to put them on both front and back? Thanks -

Expert Reply:
For your 2014 Ford Escape that has the tire size of 235/50-18 the best chains I can recommend would be the Konig Easy Fit part # TH04115240 as they provide excellent traction, clearance, last a long time, and are only option that can install in a matter of seconds.
For something a little more budget friendly the Konig chains part # TH01594240 are a great option that when compared to Easy Fit are only more involved for install process.
You can run just a single set on the front axle and you'll get around decently but ideally you have them installed on all tires to get the best traction all around.
