Options to Upgrade a 14"x14" Vent to a Powered Fan Vent in a 2022 Jayco Flight Travel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2022 Jayco Jay flight SLX 195RB that came without a bathroom fan motor. I wish to install a fan motor w/ blade in my manual lift bathroom vent 14x14. The unit is under warranty so replacing the whole unit is not feasible at this time. Can you lead me in the direction to accomplish is task. Thank you for you time in this matter.

I have another potential option, but we do not have an upgrade kit for a 14"x14" vent available. And to be completely honest, it wouldn't be the best route to go anyways. By the time you buy the upgrade kit and motor, it is going to cost you almost or as much as a brand new vent with powered fan.
I know you mentioned not wanting to do a complete replacement because your current one is under warranty, but your best option is a complete replacement and it will come with a warranty. So it will still be covered.
I recommend the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote # MA00-04500K. This will fit your current opening and comes with a 2-Year limited warranty on the vent assembly and a limited lifetime warranty on the dome. It also includes a thermostat and remote, on top of being powered like you are wanting.
You also should not use the # MA00-04500K if it is directly above the shower, this is the case for most vents with fans. If this is the case, it could be why you only have a vent currently installed.
You would want to pick up some butyl tape and self leveling sealant for installation. We have a kit available for that.
