We have a 2019 Heartland 24BHS and wondering what options are available as a hitch and light connections to tow a small utility trailer behind the camper?

Thanks for reaching out!
To add a hitch to the back of your 2019 Heartland 24BHS you'll need to measure the distance between your frame and install one of our adjustable hitches. One of our more popular options is the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13703 because it fits frames 22" - 72" wide and uses mounting brackets that fit a variety of frame styles.
Then when it comes to wiring I recommend adding the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236 since it will pull power directly from a 12V power supply (like the battery bank on your Heartland) and then uses the other wiring to essentially trigger the various functions.
You'll also need a ball mount and for that I'm linking our helpful article on measuring for rise/drop for you to check out and use as a guide for making sure you have the best option for your setup.
Also, please note that double towing is only legal in a few states so you'll need to make sure that you're abiding by state laws as you're traveling. Some people like to add brakes to that second trailer but things can get a little hairy with that so if you're wanting to pursue brakes as well I'd take your setup to a shop where they can make sure everything is getting the power it needs for safe towing.
