I recommend the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30928 for your 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. I like this 5th wheel hitch because the jaws are always ready to receive so you will not have to open the hitch before hooking up. The hitch has a gross towing weight of 20,000 pounds.
You will also need the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails # RP50142-58. The custom brackets will mount beneath your truck bed to provide attachment points for your 5th wheel rails. The vehicle specific brackets will mount to the existing holes in your vehicle's frame which minimizes drilling and measuring.
Before you get a 5th wheel you need to make sure there will be enough space between your truck cab and trailer when executing a 90-degree turn.
(A + B) - C = Clearance
A = Distance from center of fifth wheel hitch jaw to truck cab
B = Length of Sidewinder arm (16K = 22", 19K = 22")
C = Width of trailer divided by 2 (to get half)
For example: With the 16K arm, if the distance from the center of the hitch to the cab is 36", 36" + 22" = 58". If your fifth wheel trailer is 102" wide, take half (51"), then plug in: 58" - 51" = 7" of clearance.
NOTE: At least 4 inches of clearance is recommended to safely execute a 90 degree turn.
