Recommended Concealed Trailer Hitch/Wiring For A 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
I just purchased a 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon and I would like to install a trailer hitch onto my vehicle. I see you have a couple different options. I would like one that is hidden so you can't see the crosstube underneath the vehicle. I also need the trailer wiring harness. Please advice on what I would need.

Out of the hitches that we offer for your 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon I recommend The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e25TR. I like the etrailer hitch because it has a matte black power coating on it that will help hide scratches and scuffs that you may get from rocks and debris while towing your trailer. The etrailer hitch has a concealed cross tube with everything being hidden except the 2 inch receiver head. So after installation your Subaru Outback Wagon will have a off the factory lot look.
When choosing the correct wiring harness I recommend The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118467. I like this plug and play harness over the other harnesses that we offer because it has a more reliable converter box and I will run longer than the competitor's harnesses. You will also need The Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45554 to assist you in your towing journeys.
I attached two installation video links below of the etrailer hitch and the T-One wiring harness being installed onto a 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon. The installation will be the same for both hitch and wiring harness on your 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon. If you have any further questions please reach back out to me any time and I will be more than happy to further assist you in your towing endeavors.
