Should Dually Truck Have Dually Chains or Just on Outside Tire
Question:
I have a 2021 Ram 3500 Dually 4X4. Do you suggest I install snow chains on the rear outer tires and the front tires? According to the manual it shows both axels but I also see videos, a few on your site showing just installing them on the rear outer tires.

The more chains you run on your dually Ram 3500 the more traction you'll have, but a lot of people get by just fine with a set on the outside tires of a dually setup. If you need maximum traction I would recommend going with a dually style rear chain that covers both tires and a set for your front axle as well. If you are wanting something for "just in case" an outside set would work fine. If you let me know what tire size you have I can recommend a set of chains.
