Recommended Replacement Slide Out Seals For A 2014 Heartland North Trail Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2014 Heartland North Trail travel trailer. The slide out seal flaps are deteriorated from the heat. Could you tell me which replacement seal I need to order to get this fixed. Thanks,

You've got both a wiper seal and a bulb seal here with the wiper seals having a track for the bulb seal to slide onto. The Rubber Wiper Seal with Track for RV Slide Out # SR87FR you were already looking at is most likely the closest option to what you currently have. For the bulb seal you can use the Rubber Bulb Seal for RV Slide Out # SR74FR.

The wiper seal will go on first and you'll want to have the sides overlapped by the top. You can use the adhesive backing to hold it in place and then shoot a few screws in to ensure it stays in place.

When sliding the bulb seal onto the track you can take a little bit of dish detergent to it so it glides on, otherwise it kind of sticks on the track and can be a pain to slide through. I also recommend shooting a few screws through it to ensure it stays in place.

Once it's all done you can also go around the outer edges with some non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1, like your current seals have.

We carry a few different lengths for both seals so I've listed them below so that you can get what you need.

Bulb Seal:
30' # SR84FR
60' # SR24FR

Wiper Seal:
30' # SR27FR
60' # SR59FR
