Trailer Hitch, Wiring, and Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2022 Mazda CX-5
Question:
Looking to get a 2" bike rack and hitch for my 2022 CX5. Main use is for a bike rack but I might end up towing at some point too which is why I want the stronger hitch.

I recommend installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98902 on your 2022 Mazda CX-5 because it has that 2" receiver size, a hidden crosstube, and a matte black finish for a clean and durable look. While you're doing the installation I recommend grabbing the T-Connector Wiring Kit # C45FV and installing that as well so it's ready to go whenever you end up needing to tow a trailer. I'm attaching a helpful article on ball mounts as well.
Then for a solid bike rack I recommend the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR which is easy to use/install, can handle up to 60 lb bikes, and has a unique U-Shaped frame which makes it much easier to install and remove your bikes from the rack.
