2-1/2 Drop Shank Compatible With Reese Weight Distribution # RP66131

I bought this dist hitch RP66131 I need a 2.5 shank... will this work w/ the dist hitch above? EQ90-02-4900

Yes, the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4900 will work with the Reese Weight Distribution w/out Shank # RP66131.

You will also need a 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # C40030 as the weight distribution hitch does not come with a hitch ball. To reduce trailer sway you should add the Reese Dual Cam High-Performance Sway Control # RP26002. This will reduce trailer sway as well as make improve stability feel when taking corners.

The HitchGrip Carrying Tool # 303-HG-712 makes it much easier to remove the hitch and reinstall it in your receiver when needed. By holding the hitch by the ball it allows you to keep your hands clean and places the handle where it is balanced to carry the hitch.
