Replacement 3,500LB Axle For a Boat Trailer With a V-Bend Axle To Clear Boat Hull

Question:

The spindle on my boat trailer axle got damaged. I need to either replace the spindle or replace the whole axle. I could not find the axle that match my old one. The measurements are: 88.75inch hub face, 74.5inch center spring, and 82.5inch brake flank. Any recommendations are appreciated.

The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # ASR3500S04 is the only replacement axle system we have that will work with your boat trailer having the bent axle to clear the V-hull on your boat trailer. Based on your images it appears you have a 3,500lb axle with Idler Hubs # 84545UC1-EZ. The Timbren will require you to remove your current leaf springs as they bolt directly to the frame.

If you do not feel this is a viable option for your trailer we do have the #84 E-Z Lube Spindle w/ Brake Flange # TRU74FR that you will be able to have trimmed down and installed on your axle. This is best done by a trailer center that has the correct jigs to ensure the spindle is welded on true and prevent any tire wear if it is not welded on perfectly.
