Is there a Wiring Mounting Bracket on the Curt # C13126 Trailer Hitch for a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder

Question:

Does this hitch have a location to secure a standard trailer wiring connector?

Due to the profile of the Curt Class III trailer hitch # C13126, most of the hitch crossbar is recessed under the rear fascia of a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. Therefore this hitch does not include a mounting location for trailer wiring.

Since there is limited space on the hitch crossbar, a mounting bracket is not included on the hitch. Additionally, the rear fascia has to be trimmed to complete the installation of this hitch. I have included a photos showing this hitch installed on a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder, and a video of the installation for your reference.

You could use the Tow-Ready Mounting bracket # 18144 and the # 18140 with the included hose clamp to create a mounting location. This is shown at approximately the 3 minute and 20 second mark of the included video. Due to the profile of the hitch, this might be difficult to mount the bracket in a convenient location.

However, the Draw-Tite # 76031 hitch that is confirmed as a fit for this vehicle do include a mounting bracket for the trailer wiring hardware. You can use the Tow-Ready # 18144 to attach your trailer wiring vehicle connection point to your hitch with the included mounting bracket.

There is also some fascia trimming that is required for the installation of the Draw-Tite trailer hitch. I have linked the installation instructions for your reference.

Please note that depending on your trailer needs, the Draw-Tite hitch that is confirmed as a fit for your 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is not rated for weight distribution. The hitch is rated for up to 3,500 pounds towing capacity and up to 525 pounds of tongue weight.

The Curt hitch that you referenced, is rated for weight distribution, and rated for up to 5,000 pounds of towing capacity, and 500 pounds of tongue weight.

Depending on which hitch you select if you happen to need a ball mount and trailer ball I recommend the Trailer ball kit # 989900.

I have included links to the parts referenced above, the installation instructions for all the hitches, a couple of photos, a helpful article, and a couple of videos for your reference.
