Brake Controller for a 2021 Ford F-150 w/out Brake Controller Port

Question:

We have a 2021 F-150 Power-Boost hybrid. We own a travel trailer weighing 5500 pounds. We took the truck to a business that puts in after market products. They spent an hour working on our truck and determined that there is a part missing that keeps after market brake controls from being installed. So, we are at a dead end for now. Thank you so much!

So long as your 2021 Ford F-150 Power-Boost hybrid has a 7-Way connector you will be able to use the Curt Echo item # C51180. This is a wireless brake controller that connects directly to your F-150's 7-way. You will be able to manage the settings and use the override feature through an app on your phone. It uses Bluetooth so you don't have to worry about losing signal. If your phone dies the Echo uses stored settings.
