I am looking for a class V hitch for my 96 F-350. My frame rails measure 34 inches outside to outside what hitch do you recommend?

We offer several classes of hitch receiver for the 1996 F-350 and the particular version of the truck you have will determine what options will work for you. With the link provided you can use the drop-down menu at the top of the page (Select Vehicle Style) to indicate the particular version of the F-350 you have, whether a cab and chassis, or a pickup with deep-drop bumper, standard bumper or step bumper.
The three Class V hitches we offer will fit only the standard- or step-bumper equipped models and these include both 2-inch and 2-1/2-inch receiver sizes. Note that these different hitches have varying installation requirements and most will require some drilling and temporary removal of the spare tire.
I have also included links to our pages for ball mounts and hitch balls where you can select parts suitable for your hitch size and towing needs.
