Parts Needed to Add 7-Way to 1999 Camplite Damon 2408SLE
Question:
Afternoon, I am seeking to find a 7way round plug for my 1999 Camplite Damon Model 2408sle. Looking to upgrade from 4 pin to 7pin and be able to use the camper brakes for added safety. Are you able to assist with identifying the pigtail i would need and purchase through your site? Thanks Tom

Expert Reply:
To upgrade the 4-way of your 1999 Camplite Damon Model 2408sle to a 7-way so that you can use the brakes of the trailer you'd want to use the Epicord 7-Way with Junction Box part # 277-000141. You'd cut off the 4-way of you trailer and run it to the matching posts of the junction box and then run 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 from the brake output pin of the box to the brake assemblies and you'd be set.
