2-1/2 Inch Weight Distribution Shank Option For A Ford F-350

Question:

Just upgraded my TV from an F250 to an F350. The hitch 2 1/2 to 2 inch reducer / adapter was welded into my old truck but the new one is not. I want to upgrade the shank to match the hitch on the new truck but the Equalizer one is pretty expensive. Can another brand shank be substituted with the Equalizer hitch system? I am typically a brand loyalist but just want to be sure I can use another manufacturers shank with the Equalizer setup.

Yes, you can use a different branded weight distribution shank with your Equal-i-Zer WDS!

Since your Ford F-350 has a 2-1/2" receiver, and you're wanting to stick with Equal-i-Zer if possible, take a look at:

-The Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4900.

This shank has a maximum rise of 10", a maximum drop of 6", a maximum towing capacity of 16,000lbs, and can be used with a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" trailer hitch.
