Will etrailer Trailer Hitch For 2011 Nissan Rogue Allow Bike Rack to Tilt to Open Rear Hatch
Question:
If I purchase the e98846 hitch for a 2011 Nissan Rogue will it stick out far enough to allow me to purchase a bike rack that tilts so I can open my rear hatch?

It will, yes; there is a bike rack which tilts down so you can open the rear hatch of your 2011 Nissan Rogue with the etrailer hitch that fits. The hitch that fits your Rogue and the rack you need are the following part numbers:
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98846
- Saris Bones Hitch 2 Bike Rack # SA882
I really like the Bones due to its arched arms that give you excellent overall ground clearance for your bikes. The only other thing to keep in mind is that with a hanging rack like this one, if one of the bikes you want to carry has a step-through frame, or you want to carry a children's bike, you'll need to give those bikes a horizontal mounting point with a bike adapter bar, the Bike Frame Adapter Bar # 64005.
