Between the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU64FR and the RockyMounts MonoRail # RKY10007, the Kuat is the better rack for a few reasons. First off, the Transfer V2 has a 60-pound weight capacity compared to the 45-pound capacity of the Monorail. This is great if you have a heavier bike. Also, as far as compatibility, the Transfer V2 fits a larger range of bike tires diameters (between 18" - 29") and fits longer wheelbases (up to 50" long). Lastly, the Transfer V2 has a longer shank for bumper clearance. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack, it measures 9-1/2" compared to the 6-3/4" of the MonoRail.

To lock the Transfer V2 to your hitch, you need the Hitch Lock for Kuat Bike Racks - 1-1/4" Hitches # HL1.

If you need a compatible hitch receiver, feel free to respond with your year/make/model and I will be happy to help out.
